Derek Beasley, 23, of 707 n. 75th St, East St. Louis, was pronounced dead by St. Clair County Deputy Coroner at 4: 34 am Sunday at 38th Street and St. Clair Avenue.

Beasley was a passenger in a Cadillac 2001 driven by a 20-year-old man police did not identify.
